From the Ranchita Oak Vineyard of San Miguel, grown in a hot, dry climate with limestone soil, this Sangiovese has a bright garnet color. The nose is clean with cherries and a hint of violet. The berry taste has a light, peppery spice on the end. Ranging from firm and elegant to assertive and bold, Sangiovese's moderately to high acid pairs well with many foods. $28
